777 project from Hans G. Schuetz.

May - July 2006! A lot of work covers my hot summer days! I took my rudder pedals apart. Cleaning and painting was the mission statement of my summer ;o) But I think, the result was worth all my work. Enjoy my pictures and finally a plan of the next steps: building the platform for my simulator...

Rudder pedals

Painted B 707 rudder pedals

Here is a before and after shot of the pedals. It was a VERY dirty work. And hopefully I never have to do it again. But finally, watching the painted pedals, I'm glad that I did it.

The next pictures show my pedals disassembled, before cleaning, after cleaning, painting and finally assembled in their wooden box with the pushrods attached, ready to go into the simulator.

Pushrods

The pushrods again are manufactured according to my plans from Wienwork. They are made of aluminium. Thanks again to the team of Wienwork!

Platform

This is the plan, how the simulator will be installed in my room. Next step is building the platform. First part of the platform is the area below the seats. Followed by the platform-assembly for the yokes and the rudder (not implemented in the drawing right now).

Stay tuned for more pictures ...
