777 project from Hans G. Schuetz.

September 2007! In the meantime I finished the main construction of the sim-base. The seats were painted as well, and the mechanism for rudder and control columns is very close to be finalized and finished. I shot some pictures of the work so far. Please see them below. Have fun with the pictures!

Painting

Seats painted and mounted on rails!

It took me two days of hard work to paint my seats. Taking apart major parts, cover parts and areas not to be painted accidentally etc. But the result is worth the work.

The rails are manufactured according to my plans, fitting exact to the seats. They are sliding very gently in both directions, and can be locked in place as in the real plane.

How to install the control columns

Here you see my control columns with crossover linkage. The high lightened and zoomed area is for the bearings to support the column for moving forward and backward smooth and easily! Below there are some pictures with the bearings and aluminium blocks to fix all the parts in place.

Thanks to the team of Wienwork, who are producing my aluminium blocks!
